TR-1 Halifax Steamboat Factory Ferry Token Uncirculated (MS-60) $ Cheap

Description
TR-1 Halifax Steamboat Factory Ferry Token Uncirculated (MS-60)
The Halifax Steamboat Company was founded in 1817 to take over the operation of a ferry service between Halifax and Dartmouth, which had existed since 1753. These tokens were considered rare until a large hoard was discovered of uncirculated specimens during the demolition of the old company offices. As there are no records to show that the company ever used tokens, they are difficult to date.
