1909 RL, Cross Bow Tie Canada 5-cents ICCS Certified F-15 Discount

Description
1909 Round Leaves, Cross Bow Tie Canada 5-cents ICCS Certified F-15
Round Leaves Variety: In 1909 the reverse designed in 1903 was modified, altering the rounded maple leaves to more pointed leaves which resembled holly leaves. These reverse designs are found in 1909 and 1910.
Cross Bow Tie Variety: The Maltese Cross finial on the Imperial Crown depicted on the reverse design underwent three different style changes. From 1903 to 1910, the classic Maltese Cross was used, but due to space restrictions it resembled a bow tie more than a Maltese Cross. The engraver attempted to correct the deformed appearance by engraving a straight arm cross over the Maltese Cross.
